We are Mykala and Miriam from America and Austria. We met in November 2022 through a work exchange project in Austria - and we just knew that this friendship was meant to be. We share the same passion about traveling, exploring the world, volunteering & work exchange and meeting new people all around the world. As well as our mindset about consciousness and the universe. One day we had the idea that we want to share all our experiences and inspire people to step into their soul path. So here we are!!
Miriam
Hi there, I'm Miriam. Here to spread some light around the world! I love to connect with people on a deeper, mindful level and live a conscious life full of unconditional love, joy and travelling. Singing and playing the ukulele brings me a lot of happiness. I also love the sunshine, meditation and getting lost in conversations while watching the stars.
When I was younger, I always wanted to be a travel photographer. I was fascinated of a travelling lifestyle while doing something that you love. And now I am fulfilling this dream with my own blog and travel around the world and write about it. I guess you really can create the life of your dreams if you‘re conscious about it.
I wasn’t at this point from the very beginning. Before I changed my lifestyle and started to travel for longer, I was just starting my master degree of communication in Vienna. But something just didn’t feel right. And I felt like I don’t belong here - I was meant for something else. I had this deep feeling of wanting to see the world, travel and have a life full of adventures. Then I met people who inspired me even more and gave me the last push to do it. So I listened to my intuition and here I am: I stopped studying the master degree, moved out of Vienna and started my first big trip in Mexico in February 2022 and travelled Latin America for nearly half a year. After this trip I just knew that I want to continue travelling. So as I‘m writing this text I‘m currently on a nightbus in Thailand on my way to an island where I will live in a bungalow directly on the beach. Life couldn’t be better for me right now.

Mykala
Hi friends! My name is Mykala. I am a lover of light and pasta. I grew up in a small town in Alaska with four little sisters I adore. I am an author and I am majorly obsessed with all things Harry Potter.
Here is a bit of my story:
In 2022, I was technically excelling in my growing career as a Human Resources professional…and I was miserable. So, I quit my job and moved to the Oregon coast to work on a farm. While I was there, I started my freelance writing business and have been writing professionally ever since.
Working for myself allowed me to follow a major passion of mine: TRAVEL! I moved to Europe where I traveled around 6 countries in 2.5 months. After exploring London for a few weeks, I lived out of my backpack in Portugal, Italy, Germany, and Austria (where I finally met Miriam yay!). After returning to the United States, I moved to Hawaii. I recently returned to the mainland and fulfilled my dream of living out of a car while driving the US Highway 101.
Today, my goal is to inspire other wanderers to follow their passions and dreams. I am a huge believer in the innate and beautiful ability we have to CREATE whatever we want.
