"And in this moment, I swear, we are infinite..."

When was the last moment you felt infinite? Feeling inspired by my favorite movie-quote (From the movie “Perks of being a Wallflower”) I want to share my infinite moment with you.

Sámara, Costa Rica

It was rainy season in Costa Rica and I was already travelling for about 3-4 months. Even though I would describe myself as a sun-girl, rain has something very magical. I was spending some time at the beach in Sámara as some really heavy rain started falling down from the sky. Me and a friend were hiding underneath a roof as we paused for a moment and looked at each other. A smile formed in our faces and we knew that we don’t want to waste our time hiding from the rain. We quickly put off our clothes and ran straight to the ocean and jumped into the waves. I sticked my head out of the water and felt these cold raindrops on my face while being in the warm ocean water. This is the best feeling ever. From the water we could see the sun slowly setting behind the palm trees and this beautiful warm light started to appear between the mist of the rain. The wet sand started to reflect the light and the atmosphere at the beach was pure magic. While I was still floating around in the ocean and enjoying the raindrops on my face, I felt content.

No worries, no fear, no doubt – just this pure warm feeling of happiness coming from my heart.

A few days later I was inside with my friend and it started to rain again very heavily. We had the same smile on our faces and immediately knew what to do. We grabbed a speaker and ran out into the rain – still with our clothes on – and started to have a rain-dance. My clothes and hair were fully soaked and in the background I heard my favorite song (“Where is my Mind” by Pixies) blasting from the speaker. In this moment I imagined that the rain would wash down everything that doesn’t serve me anymore. All the bad and negative feelings got washed away. What remained was my pure, divine self.
